“In times of change, learners inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists.”

Eric Hoffer

American philosopher, author and social critic

Boards are betting. Strategy is lagging.

Capital is moving. Pilots are everywhere. But the strategic returns are not — because the leaders setting AI direction at the top of organisations are doing so without a framework, without precedent, and often without the regulated grounding to defend the calls they are making.

The gap between AI ambition and AI outcomes is a strategic leadership gap. This qualification closes it at the level where the decisions actually get made.

Built for the leaders setting the direction.

You’ll get the most from this qualification if you’re:

The Strategic Leader

A director, head of function or senior leader accountable for setting organisational direction — and now accountable for getting the AI strategy right.

The Executive in Waiting

A senior manager moving toward board-level responsibility, who needs AI strategic fluency as a non-negotiable part of that next step.

The Founder or Owner-Operator

A founder, partner or business owner whose strategic decisions on AI will shape capital allocation, hiring, and competitive positioning for years.

On completion, you'll walk away with:

“The people I worry most about right now aren’t the managers. They’re the leaders one rung above them — the directors and executives signing off AI strategies they don’t fully understand, against advice they can’t fully challenge. This qualification is for them. It’s how you stop being briefed about AI and start being accountable for it — with the frameworks, the judgement and the credential to back you up”

A qualification that carries weight

Assessment that earns its keep

No exams. No multiple choice. Assessments are practical and work-based — strategy documents, business cases, board-level proposals, project plans, applied research and reflective accounts drawn from your real role. You build artefacts you can take into a board paper or executive review. Written work runs from approximately 3,500 to 6,000 words per unit, depending on size.

“In a world that is changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.”

Mark Zuckerberg

Founder, chairman, and chief executive officer (CEO) of Meta platforms

Three reasons to act now

The cost of waiting is higher than the cost of acting. Here’s why:

The strategy is being written without you

AI decisions are landing on board agendas every quarter. Leaders who can’t engage substantively are being briefed by consultants, deferred to by peers, and quietly worked around. The window to be the strategic voice on AI in your organisation closes a little more each quarter.

The first cohort starts Monday 25 January 2027

The launch offer of £4,200 (saving £1,600 on the standard £5,800 Diploma fee) applies to this cohort only. After that, the next intake is months away, and the fee returns to full price.

Become the strategic voice on AI in your organisation

The leaders who set AI direction well in the next two years will define the next decade of their organisations — and their own careers. This qualification is the credential that signals — to your board, your market and your peers — that you’re one of them.
