You will be introduced to the functional disciplines of management and begin to develop the language of management and an understanding of the core concepts within the discipline. Taught Units:

The subject material becomes even more integrative and the programme considers different aspects of strategic management in depth. You are challenged to view an organisation as a complete entity and to consider holistic, strategic approaches. You are also trained in consultancy and research methodologies in order to prepare for the next stage of the MBA. Taught Units:

- Optional Units – three, 10 credit units or one 30 credit unit
The third stage of the programme offers three options:
This is a major piece of work which connects your learning on the academic programme to the context of your personal work environment in a significant way. This MBA project is a substantial piece of work of 12,000-15,000 words. You can choose the format of your project and it can be a piece of business consultancy based upon a real organisation, an enterprise project or an empirical dissertation.
The AMBA-accredited MBA programme is for professionals with management experience, which is reflected in our entry requirements. We are delighted to offer places to applicants who meet one of the following criteria:
One A minimum of three years relevant work experience plus a good (2.2) degree in any subject from a recognised university or an equivalent academic or professional qualification.
Two Significant management experience and a substantial record of achievement. Candidates meeting this criterion may not have previously studied at university. Supporting references are required in all cases.
English language requirements If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence of your English language ability. Our minimum requirements are: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT® 90 or TOEFL paper-based test 577.
The Executive MBA is a non-residential, part-time programme offered in two routes. The primary programme route runs over a period of 30 months, with typically 18 days of face to face teaching, delivered as six, three-day conferences with keynote lectures.
A series of activities is embedded throughout the primary programme including residential weekends, an international study trip and a wide range of workshops, seminars, commercial visits and guest speakers.
